Hollywood Wax Museum in Pigeon Forge, Tenn Celebrates One Year Anniversary with Free Tickets for Pigeon Forge City Employees

October 24, 2012
Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee announced Pigeon Forge City Employee Days to celebrate its first anniversary in the tourist destination. The center’s three attractions, including the nation’s largest Hollywood Wax Museum, opened on May 11, 2012.

From May 6-20, 2013, employees of the City of Pigeon Forge will be able to visit the Hollywood Wax Museum, Castle of Chaos and Hannah’s Maze of Mirrors with a guest at no charge. Additional immediate family members who live in the same household will receive 50% off admission.

The free tickets program was designed to thank Pigeon Forge City employees for embracing and supporting the new entertainment complex. According to Partner Tej Sundher, “The facility has a striking appearance on the main Parkway and could not have been built or continue to operate without the hard work of a great many city employees.”

At last year’s Grand Opening Ceremony, Sundher presented the City of Pigeon Forge Community Development department with a Waxy Award for outstanding camaraderie. “Teamwork is one of our core values,” he said. “The City of Pigeon Forge staff and planning commission exhibit the same belief in fostering ‘win-win’ situations. They are open, patient, willing to listen, and honestly share their insights.”

Over the last year, the City’s Tourism Department has been an excellent partner, and, according to Sundher, “staff members from all municipal entities have been consistently courteous and professional.”

Pigeon Forge City Employee Days also coincides with National Travel and Tourism Week (May 4-12), a good time for locals to enjoy the Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center before Memorial Day and the launch of summer tourist season.
