PIGEON FORGE, TN—Kuvera Partners announced the winners of its first Waxy Awards today. The awards are given to outstanding people and organizations that play a role in the success of Kuvera Partners and the attractions, storage and real estate industries. The honored individuals and groups extraordinarily contribute to the company and society in a variety of ways.

Waxy Awards - which are dubbed Kuvera Partners’ own version of the Academy Awards - were awarded in four specific categories: Excellence, Camaraderie, Creativity and Service. D&S Builders accepted the Waxy Award in Excellence for professional and skillful design and construction of the Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center. The City of Pigeon Forge Community Development took home the Waxy Award in Camaraderie for their exceptional teamwork and business strategy. The Waxy Award in Creativity was awarded to Studio Y Creations for imaginative thinking, passion and relentless determination. The final Waxy Award in Service was given to the Boys and Girls Club of the Smoky Mountains because it offers a safe, healthy and positive place for young people. This organization’s Waxy Award also included a donation from the Kuvera Partners Grand Opening Silent Auction and Local Appreciation Weekend.

All four companies were awarded a custom designed sculpture based on the neon blade sign at the original Hollywood Wax Museum, now the longest-running wax museum in the U.S. The silver plated Waxy Award was hand sculpted by MK Shannon Awards, and the top spins like the actual rotating logo on Hollywood Boulevard.
