Challenge

Into the early 2000s, industry standard storage marketing consisted of a sign that said “STORAGE” and an advertisement in the local Yellow Pages. Kuvera Storage knew this would have to change due to increasing competition from widespread self storage development by well-funded REITs (real estate investment trusts) and consolidation of the marketplace by large corporations.

Solution

Kuvera realized that cost-effectively building and maintaining a customer base in self storage would require: branding efforts to help consumers distinguish one storage facility from another; building relationships to foster brand loyalty; and enhancing our physical visibility. Furthermore, we implemented precise tracking and measuring systems to analyze the results of our campaigns and activities. Over the last years, we have planned, implemented and reviewed a wide variety of programs that established our facility in the community and expanded our reputation beyond the typical three- to five-mile radius.
